 Hey All,
Recently the band had its AGM and as a result there have been some changes within the band committee. Please check out the band information page for more information. I can tell you one thing band fees have dropped, so now is a better time then ever to join up to the band! If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to contact the bands secretary.

| Upcoming Concerts |
The Band's next concert is on 13th July at Tandanya (Grenfell Street, Adelaide) starting 12.45pm, entry is free so come along and celebrate NAIDOC week with us.
Also coming up is a cabaret style concert in the German Club, 223 Flinders Street on 10th August, watch this space for more details.
On 14th September the Band is off to Tailem Bend to perform in the town hall, so if you're in the area we'll see you there as well!!

Hey All,
Just a quick reminder that the bands next concert is for the Reconciliation day in Adelaide. The concert will be held at Elder Park (near the festival centre) from 12pm-1.10pm

| Reconciliation SA Family BBQ and Fun Day |
The City of Adelaide Concert Band is is proud to announce it will be performing at the Reconciliation SA Family BBQ and Fun Day in Elder Park on 1st June 2008.
This public event is an opportunity to celebrate survival and achievement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
The City of Adelaide Band will perform from 12.00 noon to 1.10 pm.
There will be community stalls, a free BBQ lunch and further entertainment as well as a presentation for the winners of the Premier's Award 2008 Reconciliation Competition. Admission is free and all are welcome.

| Tandanya Concert part of NAIDOC week |
On 13th July The City of Adelaide Concert Band will be performing a concert at Tandanya as part of the NAIDOC week celebrations.
John Packham, an indigenous musician will also be playing a Yidaki (Didgeridoo) as a guest artist. This concert follows on from the Band's performance on 1st June in Elder Park as part of the Reconciliation family fun day. All are welcome at both performances and admission is free.
